| Brian McManaman, Associate Director
As Associate Director, Brian executes planning and oversight of programming, financial administration and fund development activities. In addition, he establishes and maintains partnerships with a wide array of human services agencies. Since joining the Emergency Fund in July of 2004, Brian has forged new and exciting partnerships with Catholic Charities and Heartland Human Care Services, among others.
Previously, Brian served as Executive Director for My Brother's Keeper, where he developed a relationship and subsequent merger with the Emergency Fund. Prior to his work in the nonprofit arena, Brian served as Logistics Coordinator for Comdisco, and worked as a Manager for Peapod. From 1994 to 1997, he served as Assistant Director for Chicago Social Club, a company coordinating large-scale recreational and sporting events.
Brian graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Winona State University in Minnesota. He is a dedicated volunteer for the CARA Program, conducting mock interviews and computer training classes to unemployed and underemployed program participants. Brian resides in Western Springs with his wife, Sharon, and their five children.
