She managed our referral services and was instrumental in the development and implementation of our Financial Education program.
In 2004, Meagan took responsibility for fundraising and communications helping to increase organizational revenues by over 300%. As Director of External Affairs, Meagan works to promote the Emergency Fund's mission and garner community support. She also maintains the Emergency Fund website and edits our newsletter, annual report and other publications. She has worked closely with the Executive Director, Associate Director and Emergency Fund Board of Directors to implement strategic planning goals for the organization.
Meagan participates in many community-based initiatives in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and received a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the School of Philanthropy at IUPUI.
