Donor Spotlight

Thank you to the occupants of 651 W. Washington!

This spring, you helped us collect basic needs items for people in need. To draw attention to the need in our community and the importance of our work, we used your donations as centerpieces for our Annual Meeting, and then distributed each item to the community.

You made a difference!

Household items were donated to the Rebecca Johnson Apartments, a transitional housing facility for women served by Deborah’s Place.

These brightly colored school supplies not only directed our guests to their tables, they also emphasized that so many of our community’s children do not have critical school supplies.

Childcare supplies, like expensive diapers, were donated to Respond Now, a south suburban agency that provides immediate relief to people in need.

Canned food reminded our guests that so many of our neighbors go without meals every day. Your generosity ensured that a parent was able to provide food for their children.
