Angella Day, Development Officer Angella joined the Emergency Fund in fall 2007. As Development Officer, Angella is responsible for foundation, corporation, and government fund development, marketing strategy and implementation, volunteer leadership, and special event support. Angella also serves as staff liaison to the Associate Board. Prior to joining the Emergency Fund, Angella managed a 596 bed student housing facility. There, Angella provided operational leadership, with activities including: rental agreement development, contract enforcement, vendor relationship management, accounts payable/receivable, staff supervision and development, conflict resolution, emergency response, and community relationship management. Angella also provided consulting services for organizations with similar properties. Originally from Ohio, Angella moved to Chicago to attend DePaul University. There, Angella received a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Master’s degree in Public Service Management. Angella is currently pursing a Fundraising Certificate from the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University.
