Roberta Jorik has a lively personality. A nurse by trade, she believes strongly in helping others. Roberta first learned about the Emergency Fund through a newspaper article. “I really liked the business model – quick delivery of aid to those in need. At some points in life, one small crisis can cost you your home or livelihood. $100 makes a big difference.” Roberta’s philanthropic efforts include volunteering her time at the local library and food pantry. She enjoys reading, listening to the radio, and talking cinema. This movie buff is particularly fond of independent films. She has a daughter who resides in California. A long-time supporter of the Emergency Fund, Roberta has included the Emergency Fund and a few other closely held organizations in her will to ensure that her charitable wishes are honored. “I have more than I’ll ever need, so I want to share with organizations that will put my contributions to good use.” |
