Elizabeth joined the Emergency Fund in September 2009, after working with low income families in the Early Childhood field for over five years.
Prior to joining the Emergency Fund, Elizabeth served as Social Service Supervisor of the Early Childhood Programs at El Valor. Her duties included case management and crisis intervention with families of children ages birth to five years of age, developed individualized family goals and assessments for families, developed recruitment strategic plans for 5 different early childhood program, developed community partnerships across the Chicago land area, supervised a team of caseworkers, and various other administrative responsibilities. Elizabeth is also bilingual in English and Spanish.

Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree, with a minor in Human Development from Ohio State University.
